A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Matthew Kirkpatrick, age 42, of Hunter, is 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Matthew passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Oklahoma City. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Matthew was born May 2, 1973 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Wayne Kirkpatrick and Nancy (Viar) Kirkpatrick. He graduated from Springstead High School in Spring Hill, Florida. Following graduation he attended Surveying School then worked in Florida, Georgia, and finally in Oklahoma where he had lived for the past several years.
He is survived by two daughters, Sierra and Cheyenne Kirkpatrick and their mother, Pamela Kirkpatrick of Hunter, Oklahoma; parents, Wayne and step-mother Kristie Kirkpatrick, of Springhill, Florida; mother Nancy Kirkpatrick, of Largo, Florida; step-brother Kevin Burns of Springhill, Florida; two step-sisters, Shannon Burns, of Springhill, Kelly Yarbrough and husband John, of Springhill; his Uncle and Aunt, Kenneth and Nancy Kirkpatrick, and his cousin Pamela Case and other extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Heart Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
