The memorial service for Randal “Randy” King, age 52 will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will be in the Del Norte Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Randy was born November 13, 1957 in Garnett, KS to Jack and Leona (Baugher) King and died February 22, 2010 in the Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, OK.
He grew up on the family farm in Harris, KS and later moved to Minnesota and farmed with his father and brother from 1975 to 1986. They raised wheat, barley and sunflowers. He later worked for Sooner Completions in Oklahoma. He married Patsy Jo Gore , but later divorced. Randy enjoyed the outdoors and liked fishing and worked on old cars and motorcycles. He had a host of nieces and nephews that he enjoyed.
Survivors include his son, Randall Jo King; his parents, Jack and Leona King, brothers, Ricky King and wife Becky of Garnett, KS, Steve King and wife Betty of Drummond, OK and sister, Jackie Ekman and husband Daryl of Drummond, OK.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Marguerite King, Kenneth and Mabel Baugher and uncle, Kenneth (Mick) Baugher.
