The funeral for Beadie E Kiefer, 95, Enid will be at 10:00 am, Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Marvin Palmer will officiate. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Beadie was born in Mena, AR on February26, 1917 to Aaron Van and Maggie Lewis Heath and died Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Enid at The Commons Nursing Home.
On June 9, 1935 she married Paul L Kiefer at Nunnely, AR. The couple settled in Enid in 1942 and continued to live in the Garfield county area most of their lives. They moved to Mena, AR after his retirement from the construction business where they lived four years returning to Cleo Springs in 1981 and moving permanently to Enid in 1987 where Beadie was an active member of and past Noble Grand for the IOOF/Rebecca Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Patricia) Wentworth, Mesa, AZ; four sons, Jerald (Lydia), Garland, TX, Kenneth (Linda), Enid, OK, Bruce (Susann) Chandler, AZ, and Larry (Ronda) Grove, OK; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters and husband, Paul.
