Dorothy Kennedy

A Celebration of Life Service for Dorothy “Jean” Kennedy age 90 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation and Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jean was born April 7, 1926 in Ames, OK to William H. Morris and Faye E. Durgan and passed away at her home early Friday morning. She was raised in Ames and graduating from Lacy High School. She married Gilbert L. Kennedy on July 24, 1949 and they moved to Enid in 1991. She was active in the Postal Union Auxiliary.

She is survived by her two sons, Alan Kennedy of Enid and Bruce Kennedy in Lansing, KS, daughter Betty Crosswhite of Meno, 8 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren, Sister Edith Willey of Enid, Brother Lee Morris of Amarillo, TX and several other family members.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert, son Jerry, two brothers and four sisters.
