James Keese

James Carroll "Jim" Keese, 70, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on November 26, 2023. Born on August 10, 1953, in Massena, New York, Jim was a kind man who never met a stranger and always did his best to help those in need. He was a very selfless person, always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it was through monetary support, providing clothes, or sharing his various skills.

Jim is survived by his siblings: Judy Grinstead, Rose Haggart, Wesley Keese, Barry Keese, Karen Hanes, and Kimberly Keese-Brown. He is also survived by his children: Thomas Keese, Dannielle Lott, Johnathan Keese, and Casey Keese, as well as several nieces and nephews. Papa Jim was a proud grandfather to Careena, Jamesson, Davin, Casyn, Avian, Camdyn, Chloe, and Orion.

He is preceded in death by his father, James J. Keese, mother Kathlyn V. Keese (Kirkey), brother Curtis L. Keese, and granddaughter Bayli Marie Keese.

Jim attended Massena Central School in Massena, New York. He had a successful career as a heavy equipment mechanic and was a Certified Master Technician for Yale Lift Truck Technologies. Jim had a passion for music of all kinds and enjoyed fishing, classic cars, motorcycles, and making people laugh.

A Celebration of Life ceremony for immediate and extended family will be held in the Spring of 2024. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
