Judith Ann Pekrul

Funeral services for Judy Ann Pekrul, age 77, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Shonn Keels officiating. Burial will follow in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Judy Ann (Goble) Pekrul passed away peacefully in her home on August 28, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Judy was born August 7, 1947 in Enid, Oklahoma to Gayle and JoAnne Goble. She graduated from Enid High School in 1965. She then attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing and Phillips University. She married Gary Dean Pekrul in 1968. They lived in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where she worked at Jane Phillips Hospital. They lost a son named Eric Dean on February 2, 1971. A few years later, they moved to Enid, where she worked at Bass Baptist Hospital. During this time, they had two children, Audra and Clint. After working at the hospital for twenty years, she took a nursing position at the Garfield County Health Department where she remained for seventeen years before retiring.

 She will be missed by her husband of fifty-six years, Gary Pekrul of the home in Enid; and by her two children, Audra Beagley of Enid and Clint Pekrul of Denver, Colorado. Her family also includes a son-in-law, Clint Beagley of Enid and three granddaughters, Ashlyn Beagley of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Faith Beagley and Anna Kate Beagley, both of Enid, Oklahoma. Preceding Judy in death are her son Eric, and her parents, Gayle and JoAnne Goble.

Memorial contributions in Judy’s name may be made to St. Mary’s Cancer Center or Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
