The graveside service for Mary “Nettie” Jordan, age 98 will be held Friday, July 30, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Enid Cemetery. Rev Brad Mendenhall will officiate. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6-7:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Nettie was born January 20, 1912 in Ty, OK to Gilbert and Florance James and died July 28, 2010 in Enid. She came to Enid in 1929.
She married Clarence Jordan on January 12, 1930. He passed away on April 20, 2003. She and her husband were avid bowlers. She attended First Love Church.
Survivors include one son, Clarence Jordan of Enid, OK; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Sophorna Draffin of Enid, OK and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sons and one daughter; two brothers; four sisters and two grandchildren.
