A Celebration of Life Service for Mildred L. Jones, age 77 of Enid will be 10 am Monday , January 12, 2015 in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Pastor Wesley Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsdale Cemetery, Hillsdale, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Milly was born October 22, 1937 in Enid to Warren Victor and Dorothy Bailey Green and passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at The Commons Care Center. Milly attend and graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1955. Milly later attended Enid Business College and she started working for George E. Failing Co as a secretary until she met C.V. Jones. They were married on November 11, 1961 in Enid and made their home in Colorado. She moved back to Hillsdale in 1975 where she went to work for Henry Gungoll Associates in 1981 until retiring in 2012. She was a member of Enid Desk and Derrick Club and she enjoyed history especially WW II. She was active in the Hillsdale Community and played a major role in getting the Veteran’s Memorial in place. Milly was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by her daughter Carol Renee (Jones) Dunnam and husband Charles of Enid, grandchildren Tanya Speckels, Austin and Emily Parks, great grandchildren, Ava and Rhett, and one niece Louise Green Nottingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step mom, and a sister.
