David Jones

The funeral service for David Dean Jones, age 75 will be held at Ladusau-Evans

Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 17, 2011. Rev Alvin Dalton will

officiate. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery. Arrangements are under the

direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

David was born September 20, 1935 in Enid, Oklahoma to Everett and Racheal

McMahan Jones. He married Doris Wells on April 20, 1956 in Enid, Oklahoma.

David pastored the Enid Church of God from 1978 to 1995. He was a heavy

machine operator for the City of Enid before starting Jones Back-Hoe & Dump

Truck Service. He will be remembered for his passion for raccoon hunting and

love of finding deals on used pick-ups.

David is survived by his wife Doris of the home, Son Dean Jones and wife Kim,

and daughter Susan Jones. Five Grandchildren and one great-grandchild, three

brothers, Jerry and his wife Vickie, Jeff and his wife Juanita and Wayne and his

wife Jude.

David was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and three brothers.
