Graveside services for Edwin “Ed” C. Huffman age 76 of Enid will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Karoma Cemetery with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evan s Funeral Home.
Ed was born on December 8, 1938 in Enid, OK to Arthur and Clara Dittner Huffman and passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his home. He was raised in Jet, where he attended and graduated from Jet High School in 1956. He entered the US Army on July 10, 1961 and was honorably discharged on July 9, 1965. He served in the National Guard for 2 years.
He married Linda Wylie on May 30, 1963 in Waynoka, OK. He moved to Manhattan, KS where he worked a service station. They moved back to Enid in 1974, where he went to work for Boys Market until the store closed. In 1997 he went to work for Jumbo’s Food until he retired in 2001.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Huffman of Enid and Wayne Huffman of Mustang, OK, two daughters Tammy Miller of Enid, Toni West of Stillwater, OK, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and a sister Judy Brown of Dallas, TX, three nieces and a nephew.
Ed was preceded in death by infant son and sister Connie Roberts.
