Ruth Hudson-Owens

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Ruth Hudson-Owens, age 74, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ronald Vansell officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm Friday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ruth was born December 12, 1941 in Talihina, Oklahoma, daughter of Benjamin and Elnora (Edwards) White, and passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 in Enid. She was united in marriage to Danny Owens January 27, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ruth enjoyed traveling, trips to casinos, her shopping sprees and rocking the babies. Ultimately, she was happiest spending time with all of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Danny, a son, Mickey Del Warren, parents Benjamin and Elnora, step-father, Frank Benson, and a brother, Horace William White.

Ruth is survived by four children, Thomas Warren and wife Allison, of Woodinville, Washington; Joel Warren of Enid; Robin Lynch and husband Randy, of Bedford, Texas; Michael Hudson of Houston, Texas; Stephen Owens and wife Amber of Krebbs, Oklahoma; three brothers, Meryle White, of Talihina, Oklahoma; Ben White, Jr., of Kennesaw, Georgia; Ralph White, of Talihina, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
