A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Eva Pearl Howard, 98, of Nash will be Wednesday August 20, 2014, 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Bob Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 to 7 PM.
Pearl was born June 6, 1916 in Pond Creek, OK, one of six children, the daughter of Walter E and Edna Van Sickle Hougham and passed away August 17. 2014. She was united in marriage to Eldon Howard in 1934 in El Reno, OK and he preceded her in death March of 1998. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nash. Pearl enjoyed quilting and spending time in her garden. Pearl will be remembered for her cooking, especially her fried chicken and her homemade Jelly. She worked side by side on the farm with her husband Eldon.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Schneider and her husband Leroy of Enid, two grandchildren, Steven and Howard Schneider of Nash, three great-grandchildren, Kenny, Bryan and Alicia, three great great-grandchildren, Annika, Leroy and Ema. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Denise Estrada, two great grandsons, Coby and Casey Schneider, three brothers and two sisters.
