The funeral service for Alice M Howard, age 69 will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Hillsdale Bible Church. Rev Mike Kelly will officiate. Burial will be in the Hillsdale Cemetery, Hillsdale, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Alice Marie Montgomery was born December 30, 1940 to Luke and Rosaline Montgomery in Wichita, KS and died July 6, 2010. She was reared on a farm west of Hawley. She started first grade at Gore until Gore closed and transferred to Nash. She graduated in 1959 from Nash High School.
She married Gehyman Lee Howard on September 5, 1959 in Wichita, KS. She was a member of the Hillsdale Bible Church and Hillsdale Booster Club.
Survivors include her husband, Lee; sons, Paul Howard, David Howard and wife Jean of Canton, OK, Luke Howard and wife Pam of Hillsdale, OK; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
