Minnie Horner

Funeral services for Minnie L. “Peggy” Horner age 83 of Enid will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will be 12:30 pm Tuesday at the Hope Cemetery near Seiling under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born June 8, 1927 in Vici, OK to Alfred and Sarah Evans Lynes and passed away at her home Friday evening, April 29, 2011. Peggy grew up and attended school in the Vici/Camargo community.
Peggy married Arthur “Art” Horner on April 17, 1950 in Taloga, OK. They moved to Enid in 1952. He passed away on September 8, 1990.
Peggy worked as a CNA for several nursing homes for several years. Later she worked as in housekeeping for Advance Foods.
She is survived by her daughter Sandy Frye and her husband Clyde of Ringwood, four sons, Earl and his wife Jennifer Horner, A. D. Horner, Tony and his wife Melinda Horner all of Enid, and Ronny and his wife Peggy Horner of Coppers Cove, TX, two sisters Lena McMullen of Enid and Audrey Thompson of Glendale, AZ, 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, one brother and three sisters.
