A Celebration of Life service for Kenneth D. Holtzen will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born in Enid on March 3, 1941 to Emil and Anna Vorderstrasse Holtzen. After graduating from Enid High School, he went to work with his father at Holtzen Construction. Kenneth took over Holtzen Construction in 1980 until his retirement in 2015. Kenneth also honorably served in the US Army Reserves.
Kenneth married Cheryl Ellsworth on November 18, 1967 in Enid and raised four children.
Kenneth is survived by children Amy Holtzen, Matthew Holtzen, Katie (Brad) Hedges, and Scott (Lori) Holtzen, seven grandchildren, and his sisters Verna Holtzen and Shirley Beins and her husband Paul.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl, his parents, and his sister Donna Holtzen.
Memorials can be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
