Cheryl Holtzen

July 18, 1944 — December 12, 2017

A Celebration of Life service for Cheryl M. Holtzen will be 2:00 pm Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Cheryl was born in Medford, OK on July 18, 1944 to Ebert and Catherine Schwartz Ellsworth and passed away on December 12, 2017 in Greenbrier Nursing Home.

After graduating from Enid High School, Cheryl married Kenneth Holtzen on November 18, 1967 in Enid and raised four children. She also worked with her husband in his construction business and during harvest.

Cheryl loved spending time with her family, and she cherished every moment she spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Kenneth and their children Amy Holtzen, Matthew Holtzen, Katie (Brad) Hedges, and Scott (Lori) Holtzen, and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Wesley Ellsworth.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials can be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
