Funeral services for Norma Jean Hoffsommer, 81, of Hillsdale, OK will be Sat. July 14, 2012, 9:30 AM at Hillsdale Bible Church with Dr. Robert Courtney officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillsdale Cemetery. Services under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jean was born Nov. 28, 1930 in Nash, OK the daughter of Ted and Zelma Stovall Wayman and died July 10, 2012 in Enid, OK. She was a graduate of Hillsdale High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to James Hoffsommer Aug. 18, 1948 in Hillsdale. Mrs. Hoffsommer was a homemaker and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Jean was an active member of Hillsdale Bible Church. Her life was one of service to her Savior, Jesus Christ, her family and her community.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James; a daughter, Trudy Hoffsommer of Oklahoma City, OK; three sons: Monty and his wife Anita of Liberty, MO and their children, Kristen and Jeremy Maness (Addison, Kate and Saylor), Amy and Toph Majors, Andrew Hoffsommer; Steve and Brenda Hoffsommer of Hillsdale, OK and their children, Jenifer and Royce Lloyd (Mia and Sadie), Jill and Kelly McCoy (Jack and Hallie); Jeff and Sue Hoffsommer of Hillsdale, OK and their children, Melissa and Evan Land (Benaiah and Tenley), Zach and Kayla Hoffsommer, Mandy Hoffsommer, Maddie and Kasey McCoy (Channing), Sid Hoffsommer, Nick Hoffsommer and MacKenzie Hoffsommer. She is also survived by her brother, Kent and Patti Wayman of Nash, OK, a sister-in-law, Patsy Wayman of Nash, three nieces, (Rhonda, Misty and Maci) and one nephew, Steve. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Susan and two brothers, Howard Lee and Dennis.
