Erma Louise Hoeltzel went to her heavenly home September 17, 2015. Erma was born May 6, 1942 in Mulhall, OK to Charles E. Cutler and Louise (Walkenhorst) Cutler, the youngest of seven children. She married her husband, Richard B. Hoeltzel on December 2, 1961; together they adopted a daughter, Pamela Diane, and a daughter Robyn Lynn was born to them. Erma and her husband made their home on the family farm southeast of Enid, OK.
Erma worked as a hairdresser for many years, and owned her own beauty shop. Throughout her marriage she assisted her husband on the family farm. She volunteered in many of her daughters school and extra-curricular activities; she also served in several church groups. Erma was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Erma is survived by her husband, Richard Bruce, of the home; daughter Robyn Guest and husband David of Edmond, OK. Daughter Diane Halsted and husband Larry of Yukon, OK, three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and a sister Wanda Tidwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, four sisters and a special niece, LaDonna Grace Harper.
Erma was always a blessing to her family and friends, giving emotional support and counsel; she gave everything that she could to family, friends and anyone she encountered in need. She was strong in her faith in God and our Savior Jesus Christ, and it is of great comfort to her loved ones to know she is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her Heavenly home.
Family visitation will be at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home in Enid, OK on Monday, September 21 from 6-7pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 22, at 2pm at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont, OK. with Pastor Timothy Dorsch officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Lutheran Hour Ministries with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. The service may be viewed and online condolences made at ladusauevans.com.
