Larry Higgins

Graveside services for Larry M. (Mike) Higgins age 54 of Enid will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Park Cemetery with his brother-in-law Terry Hendrix officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Mike was born September 27, 1958 in Durant, OK to Larry and Mary Ann Boatman Higgins and passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at his home. He moved to Enid in 1974. He married Patricia Eckhardt in 1980 and they have three sons, Larry Len, Jay Dee, and Michael Roy. He worked in the body shop with his dad and later opened his own body shop in 1986. He later worked in the oil field. In 1989 he went to work for Eldon Plymale in the carpet business, later establishing Mike Carpet business in 1990.

He is survived by his wife Patricia of 33 years of the home, sons Larry Len, Jay Dee, and Michael Roy all of Enid, six grandchildren, two sisters Maria Hendrix and husband Terry of Denton, TX and Betty Jean and husband Johnny Rains of Hennessey, and many relatives and friends.
