Graveside service for Iris (Tucker) Herdman, 86, of Rutherford, NJ and formerly of Enid, OK will be Saturday, March 29, 2014, 11:00 AM at the Pond Creek Cemetery, Pond Creek, OK.
Iris was born in 1927 in Rhonda Valley, Wales, the daughter of Henry and Alice Tucker and passed away Saturday March 15, 2014. She was united in marriage to SMG (Ret.) Charles E. Herdman in High Wycombe, England and he preceded her in death in 1993. For the last eighteen years, she resided in Rutherford, NJ, living with her daughter Charlene Mariano and her husband Daniel.
Other survivors include her son, Marvin Dean Herdman of Arlington, TX, grandchildren, Shawn, Jamie, Wendy, Jennifer, Mark and Joshua, 12 great-grandchildren, a sister, Nancy Ford, previosly of Enid, a niece, Christine Dellenbaugh and nephews, Mark Ford, Ray Herdman, Darren Herdman, Terry Lohmann and Steve Lohmann all of Oklahoma and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Herdman. She was also preceded in death by a great grandson, Drew and her siblings, Elsie Pierce, Harry, Levi, Stanley, Leonard and Glyn all of England.
