Funeral Services for Alfons U. Helberg 84, of Fairmont will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church of Fairmont. The Rev. Tim Dorsch will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Alfons was born on December 31, 1928 in Fairmont, Oklahoma the son of Ernest and Anna (Buschmeyer) Helberg. Alfons graduated from Garber High School. He was a farmer all of his life also working for the county for several years working from 1996 to 2003. Alfons was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Alfons is survived by several Nieces and Nephews and close friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
