The funeral service for Nettie Hayes, age 84 will be held Friday, January 21, 2011
at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev James Lambert
and Rev Lesly Broadbent will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park
Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral
Home.
Nettie was born on December 19, 1925 in Oklahoma to William and Maudie
Creacy Burkett and died January 18, 2011 in Enid.
She married Arvel E “Gabby” Hayes on October 12, 1942. He passed away on
October 18, 2005.
Nettie worked in the cafeteria in Enid Public School for several years. She was
very active in Willow View United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two grandsons, Eric Weida and wife Shawn of Enid and Erin
Weida and wife Jennifer of Tulsa; three grandsons, Wylee, Mitchell and Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Linda Weida in June 2000
and one brother.
