A Celebration of Life service for Darlene A. Hatton,78, Enid, is 10 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017, at Bible Baptist Church. The Rev Terry Chick will officiate. Cremation arrangements are under
the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Darlene was born July 19, 1938, to Glenn Southwick and Mildred Richard in Garber, and departed this life Monday, Feb. 27, 2017. She married Noel Chambers and from that union had three children, Dennis, Patty, and Dan. Darlene loved spending time with her children and their families. She was an avid gardener and loved bringing plants back to life. She had a passion for embroidery and took great pleasure in gifting her beautiful works of art to family and friends.
She attended church at Bible Baptist Church, Enid. She worked for the Enid State School, and later in the home healthcare field. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred
Deeds, and brother Lawrence Southwick.
She is survived by her daughter Patty (Chuck) Wisel, Enid; sons Dennis Chambers, Greenville,Texas; and Dan Chambers, Enid; six grand children, Mindy (Mick) Rude, Enid; Misty (Brandon) Sharkey-Cannon; Matthew Sharkey, Edmond; Michael Sharkey, Enid; Devin (Edward) Blakeley, Enid, and Levi Chambers, Enid; and
nine great-grandchildren.
