The memorial service for Jeanette A Hatfield, age 69 of Enid will be Friday, December 16, 2011 at 6:30 pm at the Trinity Baptist Church, 1818 E Chestnut. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Jeanette was born September 26, 1942 in Enid, OK, the daughter of LeRoy and Genevieve A (Hicks) Watkins. She was a graduate of Enid High School in 1960, then a graduate of Northern OK College in 1994, receiving her nursing degree. She then received her masters degree at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She had been employed by various Enid area nursing homes, Integris Bass Baptist Hospital and N.O.R.C.E.. She was united in marriage to Eldon Edward Markes in Bison, OK and he preceded her in death. She was then united in marriage to Robert Hatfield in Enid, OK and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include, one daughter, Sheila Markes Collier (Claude) of Jacksonville, FL; two sons, Edward Markes (Debi) of Jacksonville, FL; Brian Markes (Kelly) of Enid, OK; four grandchildren: Shannon Morgan (Andy), Tyler Culbert, Claude William Collier, III; Jessica Marie Collier; one sister, Judy Latchaw (Paul) and one brother, Jerry Watkins (Dee).
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James.
