George Eric Hartline, 69, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on September 23, 2023. He was born on August 22, 1954, in Ft Gordon, Georgia.
George served in the military, dedicating six years to the US Army and an additional 12 years in the US Army Reserve as a member of the Nurse Corps. His military associations shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and honor.
Following his enlistment, George was assigned to the US Army Signal Corps. After college he was commissioned in the US Army Reserve as a Lieutenant. During Operation Desert Storm, he organized and deployed MASH units to Iraq, bringing critical medical support to those in need.
After retiring, he shared his valuable experience with civilian hospitals, where he made a significant impact. However, his most fulfilling position was with Hospice Circle of Love.
Outside of his professional life, George was an avid modeler and a member of the Enid Modelers community. His passion for modeling led to his work being showcased in museums across Texas and Oklahoma.
George is survived by his loving wife, Susan, and his son, Richard Garrett. He is also survived by his brothers, John, Joseph, and Charles, and his sister, Patricia. He was preceded in death by his parents, John D and Evangeline B Hartline.
In accordance with George's wishes, there will be no memorial service. However, those who wish to honor his memory may consider making a contribution to Hospice Circle of Love in Enid, Oklahoma. The charitable organization provided invaluable support and care during George's final days.
