A celebration of life and remembrance for Connie Marie Harris, age 64, of Enid, is 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at World Harvest Church with Pastor Mike Sturgeon officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Connie was born August 23, 1950 in Enid, Okla to Vernie Eckron Walker and Velma Marie (Horstman) Walker. She attended school and lived her entire life in the Enid area. Following high school she continued her education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and spent many years taking care of others.
Connie is survived by her children, daughter, Olivia Harris; son Paul Harris, both of Enid; daughter Joy Markle; three grandchildren, Chloe, Jacob, and Sophia; three brothers, Donald Walker and wife Wanda, of Enid; Kenneth Walker and wife Betty, of Waukomis; Ronnie Walker, of Alva; and two sisters, Verna Jo Cummings, of Bartlesville, OK, and Jerry Bellar and husband David, of Enid, Ok, as well as many other family members and friends. The Walker, Harris, and Clay family will cherish all the good memories.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Larry Dean Walker.
