A Celebration of Life service for Betty Jane Harris (B.J.) age 94 of Enid formerly of Las Vegas, NV, will be Monday, January 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Randy Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be at 2:00 pm at the Rose Hill Cemetery, 6001 N. Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Betty was born September 8, 1921 in Oklahoma City, OK to Randell S Cobb and Mary E Cobb McIntire and passed away December 21, 2015 at her home. Betty grew up in Oklahoma City. She attended Oklahoma University and University of Colorado.
Survivors include sons, William V Harris of Enid, OK and Randy J Harris of Dallas, TX and daughter Linda Evans of Enid, OK. B.J. leaves eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Boomer, her Havanese, misses her terribly.
The sparks of her life were the many dogs that raised her.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William J Harris and her son, Steven G Harris.
Donations may be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, PO Box 3501, Enid, OK 73702, serving as custodians of the funds.
