The funeral service for Fred E Harmon, age 84 will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 9:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Don Tines will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Fred was born November 27, 1926 in Enid, OK to Fred W. and Alta Peterson Harmon and died July 21, 2011 at his home. He graduated from Enid High School in 1947.
He served in the US Navy during WW II. On April 25, 1948 he married Mary R Jenkins. She passed away March 15, 2003. He married Virginia Reeise on March 7, 2009. Fred was a partner with Harmon Custodial Services until 2002. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church, VFW, 32nd Degree Mason, American Legion, Moose, and Senior AMBUCS.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia of the home, three sons, Danny Harmon and wife Judy, Darrel Harmon and Rex Harmon all of Enid, OK; daughter, Doris Jantz and husband D.J. of North Richland Hills, TX; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and sister, Opal Waggoner of Salt Lake City, UT.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Mary; grandson, Trevor Jantz; brothers, Ralph and Karl; and two sisters, Earnestine and Irene.
