The funeral service for Jason Neal Hampton, age 34 will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10:00 am at the St Joseph Catholic Church, Bison, OK. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family Thursday from 6-7:30 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Jason was born December 14, 1976 in Oklahoma City, OK to Joe Neal and Joan Markes Hampton and died May 30, 2011 in a truck accident. He graduated from Waukomis High School in 1995. During his school years he was very successful at showing club lambs. He then became a certified diesel technician and had his own trucking company. He worked for several grain and pipeline companies including Enid Board of Trade, Johnstons Grain, Maxline Pipeline, Oklahoma Bridge, and was employed by Mudslingers Trucking at the time of his death.
Jason loved the outdoors, especially deer hunting. He also enjoyed going to Colorado with his family in the summer climbing mountains and trout fishing.
Jason is survived by his two very special daughters, Hannah Paige and Jessica DeLaney Hampton, parents, Joe Neal and Joan Hampton, sister and brother-in-law Jennie and Micheal Brinkley, nephew and niece, Cooper and Reagan Brinkley, Grandma Evelyn Hampton and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jason Neal Hampton Children’s Education Fund with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
