A private family burial will be in the Enid Mennonite Brethren Cemetery preceding the Celebration of Life service for Betty A. Hamm at the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church at 11:00 a.m. Monday with Rev. Garvie Schmidt, Rev. Lynford Becker, and Rev. Jay Risner officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Betty Ann (Becker) Hamm was born on April 17, 1937, in Shafter, CA to Edward Jacob and Anna (Fast) Becker and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 13, 2012 at her home in Enid, Oklahoma.
Betty accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior as a young child and was baptized and received into membership in the Fairview Mennonite Brethren church in June of 1950. Betty was raised in Fairview, Oklahoma, and graduated from Fairview High School in 1955. She then married the love of her life, Clayton Hamm, on June 30, 1955. They made their home in Enid, OK and celebrated 50 years together in June, 2005.
She was an active member of the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church for more than 40 years. Betty retired from Central National Bank in 2001 after 20 years of service.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves behind many cherished memories for her loving husband Clayton, sons, Randy and Janelle Hamm of Enid, Rodney and Brenda Hamm of Hillsboro, Kansas, and daughter Roxanne and Craig Heath of Oklahoma City; one brother, Lynford Becker and wife Ruby of Enid, and sister-in-law Jewel Becker of Fairview. Along with grandchildren Lauren and Mark Williams, Lindsey and Justin Jackson, Garrett and Mariela Hamm, Derek Hamm, Jarod Hamm, Shannon Heath, and one great grand-daughter Natalie Hamm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Victor and wife Ruby Becker, Harrison Becker and one infant sister Wilma Becker.
