Mass of Christian burial for Earl Godfrey Hahn, 85, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Enid with Father Larry Kowalski officiating. Burial will be at the Blackwell Cemetery, Blackwell, Oklahoma, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Ladusau-Evans Chapel.

Earl was born December 6, 1925 to Mary Elizabeth and ¬¬Godfrey Hahn.
He died peacefully Monday night, February 21, 2011 at Greenbrier Nursing Home where he was a resident.
Earl was born and raised in Blackwell. He attended elementary school and graduated from Blackwell High School. Earl also attended college for one year and was avid fan of Oklahoma State University. He continued to refer to his favorite team as the “Aggies”. Earl enlisted in the U. S. Army and proudly served in WWII where he obtained the rank of sergeant.
Earl had a productive life as a salesperson in the communities of Seminole, Wewoka and Enid. When younger, he liked playing golf, fishing, hunting and gardening. He loved tomatoes. He also liked traveling. After retirement, he performed various volunteer activities to include Meals on Wheels and at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Earl was a member of Saint Gregory The Great Catholic Church, Enid, Oklahoma.
He is survived by brothers, Bill Hahn of Littleton, Colorado and Harold “Hal” Hahn of New York City, New York, two nieces, as well as numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
