Leroy Haggard

Funeral services for Leroy G. Haggard age 85 of Enid will be 10 am Tuesday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Don Tines officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Leroy was born July 18, 1924 on the family farm near Lahoma to George Everett and Hazel Burchfield Haggard and passed away July 3, 2010 in St. Mary’s Hospital. He attended Pleasant View Country Grade School and graduating from Lahoma High School in 1942. Leroy served with the Army Corp of Engineers- 1876th Engineer Aviation Battalion- Company “B” and was honorably discharged.
Leroy married Irene Krienke on October 5, 1946 and she passed away October 3, 1992. He married Jeanette Shults on April 17, 1993 and she passed away December 11, 2004.
Leroy farmed with his family.
He attended the United Church of Lahoma.
Leroy is survived by his son Rick and his wife Ronda of Lahoma, grandchildren Kyle, Kirk, and Taylor, a brother-in-law Art Krienke and several other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Norma Mae Sprague.
Memorials may be made to the Veteran’s Hospital with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
