A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Leslie G. Hackett, 90, of Enid, will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015, 1:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Kelly Russell officiating. There will be no graveside service.
Leslie was born April 20, 1925 in Casey, OK the son of Grover and Esther Cannon Hackett and passed away May 8, 2015 at Greenbrier Nursing Center. He was united in marriage to Rosa McCray November 7, 1952. Leslie served in the Army in the Korean War from 1948 to 1952. He was employed by the railroad and was later employed by First Baptist Church for over 28 years. He enjoyed working on old TVs and radios and fixing anything.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa, one daughter, Patti Jones of Enid, three grandchildren, Kyle, Jeremy, Ian and their mother Marla Hackett of Fort Worth, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Larry and four brothers and two sisters.
