Sherri Griffith

April 11, 1964 — November 3, 2015

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Sherri Fitzgerald Griffith, 51, of Enid, will be Saturday, November 7, 2015, 2:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Sherri was born April 11, 1964 in Liberal, Kansas the daughter of Francis and Juanita Hibbs Fitzgerald and passed away November 3, 2015. She was a graduate of Enid High School in 1982 and then graduated from OSU with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education in 1986. Sherri was united in marriage to Harold Clay and then later married Gary Griffith September 4, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada and he preceded her in death December 19, 2008. She was employed as office manager for Dr. Ed Braly in Enid and later employed as office manager for Dr. Brian Whitson. She was a member of the Cowboy Church. She and her husband showed custom cars, attended car auctions, enjoyed NASCAR, riding motorcycles with her husband, especially a trip to Sturgis, South Dakota, western dancing, an avid OSU fan and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two brothers, Louis Turner and his wife Gloria of Wichita, Kansas, Gordon Fitzgerald and his wife Carolyn of Haskell, Oklahoma, one sister, Bonita Kaufman and her husband Loyd of Enid, Oklahoma, twelve nieces and nephews, eighteen great nieces and nephews and other extended family including her in-laws Dan and Dot Baker of Enid, Oklahoma and she will be missed by her precious pets, Nico and Sissy. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Vicki Fitzgerald.

Memorial contributions may be made to OMRF, Heart or Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the funds. Online condolences may be made and viewing of the service at ladusauevans.com.
