Funeral services for Almeda Greer, 94, of Enid, will be Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, 10:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Greer officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Inurnment will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Almeda was born Dec. 2, 1918 in Tishomingo, OK, the daughter of S M and Lucy Harris Ledgerwood and passed away Feb17, 2013. She attended school in Tishomingo, OK. She was united in marriage to Todd Greer Dec. 25, 1936 in Granite, OK and he preceded her in death in 1968. Almeda was employed as a nurse’s aide for many years. She enjoyed caring for her garden and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughter, Gerri Culp and her husband Tom of Enid, two sons, Doug Greer and his wife Narci of Clinton, OK and James Greer and his wife Judi of Erving, TX, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nan and Lucy Mae, a granddaughter, Kima Sue and a grandson, Michael Wayne.
