Amanda Gray

August 29, 1976 — July 5, 2015

A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Amanda Jo (Hunt) Gray, age 38, is 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Our Princess took off her stilettos and fell asleep, to wake up in the arms her King; Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior; July 5, 2015. We are certain a choir of angels sang over her, as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords placed a crown of jewels upon her head. What a joyous occasion for Amanda as she was welcomed into the heavenly Kingdom of the Most High. Though her family and friends love and miss her we recognize she was always His princess. We were given 38 short years to enjoy her; now our greatest comfort is the assurance, we will see her again.

Amanda was born August 29, 1976 in Little Rock, Arkansas; she most recently lived in Norman, Ok with her fiancé and worked at Oklahoma University Campus. She leaves behind two daughters, Kaitlyn Denise Jones of Oklahoma City; (father Sydney Jones) Kynsie Elizabeth Gray of Norman, Ok; (father Bruce Gray). Grieving her loss and the loss of their unborn baby is the love of her life, her fiancé Shawn Lawson.

Amanda is also survived by her father Billy Gene Hunt of Enid, Ok and wife Rena, her mother Linda Fay Thompson also of Enid and husband Randal Gene; four siblings Tommy Hunt, Tammy Martin and husband Christopher, Shawna Hunt, and Andrew Hunt all of Enid Ok; step sisters Stephne, Sabrena and Sandie Walker of Enid, OK.

Amanda had 5 nieces and one nephew who adored her; Ananda Hunt, Maranda, Madisen, Rachel and Emily Martin all of Enid, Ok, and nephew Brandon Allen Dority of Enid, Ok, plus numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Athel Preston Hunt, of Enid, OK - Oary Clifton and Rachel Berniece Hunt of Arkansas, her maternal grandparents Walter Thomas and Ruby Fay Turner of Augusta, Arkansas and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
