Leeroy Grandon

The graveside service for LeeRoy “Roy” Grandon, age 84, will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, Kansas. Rev Don Tines will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Roy was born August 23, 1926 in Burrton, KS to Claude Wesley and Sarah Inez (Hale) Grandon and died November 1, 2010 at St Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Enid, OK.
He married Lois Mae Johnson on January 27, 1951 in Burrton, KS.
He served in the US Army. In his early years he was a steel worker and he worked in Reno County on roads and bridges. He was a farmer until retirement. He was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his son, John Grandon of Ellinwood, KS and daughter, Annetta Grandon Hoffmann of Highlands Ranch, CO; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Revak of Milsca, MN; Maryetta Kelly of Enid, OK and brother, Harold Grandon, Burrton, KS.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lois and brother, Paul Grandon.
Memorials may be made to St Mary’s Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Fund with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@suddenlinkmail.com.
