A Celebration of Life Service for Wanda Mae Gragert age 90 of Fairmont will be at 10 am Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Timothy Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery under the direction Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Wanda was born September 22, 1926 in Enid to Hugo Eckert and Martha Nobis and passed away early Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Greenbrier Nursing Center. She grew up in the Fairmont community and graduated from Garber High School. Wanda married Forrest Gragert and he passed away January 20, 1988. She worked at the Zion Lutheran School as a cook and volunteered for the Red Cross for several years. Wanda was a life-time member of Zion Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and participated in Ladies Aid many years. Wanda is survived by her two sons, Neal and his wife Judy Gragert of Wichita, KS and Kent Gragert of Fairmont, grandson Nathan and wife Katie of Wichita, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Kevin Lee, daughter-in-law Kellie, and step-father Albert Niehus.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
