Mass of Christian Burial for George Louis Gragert, 80, of Enid, will be Thursday, April 10, 2014, 12:00 noon St Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Irwin as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the church.
George was born March 7, 1934 in Fairmont, OK the son of Walter and Amelia Jacobi Gragert. Mr. Gragert was a graduate of Douglas High School in 1952. He was united in marriage to Louise Lollman in 1966 and to this union two sons were born. George was employed at Bell Jewelers and later owned and operated George’s Engraving and Jewelry retiring in 2006. His hobbies included collecting Air Force patches, fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife Louise, two sons, Tim and his wife Beth of McKinney, TX and Kevin of Carrollton, TX, two sisters, Joann St. John of Virginia, Shelba Baker of Oklahoma and a brother, Donald Gragert of Fairmont, OK. Mr. Gragert was preceded in death by his parents.
