Funeral services for Joy Gordon 83, of Enid will be held Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tom Pullin will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery. There will be a visitation Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Joy Darlene Gordon was born September 18, 1929 to Everett and Viola (Clark) Dailey in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Gentry High School in Gentry, Ark. She met Ned Gordon in high school and they later married on Oct. 9, 1949. At the age of 10 Joy accepted Christ and was baptized in Flint Creek in Arkansas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years later attended Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church. Joy loved to support missions. Joy was a familiar face at Braums where she Assistant Manager for over 20 years.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ned.

Joy is survived by three children:

Dale Gordon of Tulsa, Kay Stair of Tulsa and Jan Colbert of Del City. 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, 1 Sister Golda Mae Lawson and many loving family members and friends.
