A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Wayne Goodwin, age 54, of Enid, will be Monday, June 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. The United States Army will provide Military Honors. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Wayne was born September 12, 1960 in Enid to Bill and Billie (Mullikin) Goodwin and passed away unexpectedly at his home May 9, 2015. He graduated from Chisholm High School in 1978, and then served his country in the United States Army. After his discharge from the Army, he moved to Marietta, Georgia where he worked in construction. Wayne was a talented carpenter, earning expert badges and awards from the US Army. He had recently returned to Enid.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Billie Goodwin, a niece, a cousin.
He is survived by two brothers and two sisters, David Goodwin, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Gerald Goodwin and wife Chris, of El Paso, Texas; Cindy Lehman and husband Robert, of Enola, Pennsylvania; Nancy McCormick and husband Brad, of Enid, Oklahoma; six nieces and six nephews as well as many other friends and family.
Memorials may be made to the Enid SPCA .with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
