The funeral service for Kenneth L “Mike” Golliver, age 78, will be held Monday, April 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church. Rev Grayson Lucky will officiate. Burial will be at 3:45 pm at the Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, OK with Rev Jim Edmison officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family, Sunday evening from 7-8 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Mike was born March 28, 1933 in Lucien, OK to George and Annie Cockrun Golliver and died, March 28, 2011 in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City, OK.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War. On July 22, 1955 he married Donna Kennedy in Perry, OK. He was the manager of Maxwell Pancake House in Enid, OK. He enjoyed golfing, was an OSU Cowboys fan and little league baseball coach.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, two daughters, Kim Andrus and Tamara Patterson; four grandchildren: Kayla Andrus, Matthew Andrus, Stephanie Patterson and Michael Patterson and sister, Mae Archer of Danville, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Georgia Bratcher and Faye Sutton and brother, Laverne “Bill” Golliver.
