Marvin was born April 1, 1925 in the family home near Kremlin, Oklahoma to Ernest and Mollie (Winters) Goll and passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his home. Marvin attended school in Kremlin and graduated in 1944. He was a charter member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Marvin married Margaret Petermann on April 9, 1950 in Alva, Oklahoma. He was a farmer in the Kremlin area, and enjoyed camping at lakes across Oklahoma and Arkansas with his kids and grandkids, and when those great-grandkids rang that door bell and ran in, the first words out of their mouth was “Where’s Grandpa?” That would make his day. They also spent several winters in Texas with many friends. They square danced with several clubs for over 50 years. They moved to Enid in 1996. Marvin and Margaret were married for 64 years.

He is survived by his wife Margaret, of the home in Enid, two sons, Wayne Goll of Enid; Dean Goll and his wife Ann, of Alva; one daughter, Marcene Kolb and husband Sheldon, of Lahoma; four grandchildren, Tyla and Chad Mantz, of Enid; Kendra and Todd Hamilton, of Enid; Deana and Carson Silk, of Yukon; Ryan Kolb, of Oklahoma City; six great-grandchildren, and one brother, Victor Goll, of Seminole, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one half brother and two half sisters.
