Funeral service for Bessie C. Goble, 99, will be 2:00 pm Monday October 04, 2010 in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Lillie officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Bessie’s name to the Bethel Hawley Baptist Church with the funeral home custodian of the funds.
Bessie was born Southeast of Nash, June 13, 1911 to A.Y. and Dora May Williamson McDonald and passed away Thursday September 30, 2010 at the Golden Oaks Nursing home.
Her early years were spent in Lebanon, Oregon. She attended school in Clinton, Indiana, Pond Creek, Nash and then Enid Business College. She married R.Wayne Goble June 02, 1933. They had been married 63 years before his death October 27, 1996.
They owned Waynes TV for many years. She was the bookkeeper for the TV shop. She was a member of the Nash Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by one sister, one brother, her husband, one niece Debbie Becker.
She is survived by two nieces, Rita McDermed Choate and husband Robert, Little Rock, Arkansas and their children; Judy Pekrul and husband Gary, Enid and their children; two nephews Merlin Ransom and wife Linda , Enid and their children; Phillip Clover and wife Terrie, Enid and their children; sister-in-law Glorene Clover and husband Bradford.
