A Celebration of Life service for Nadine Gilchrist, age 80 years, of Norman, OK, formerly of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Nehrenz to officiate. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Lahoma, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends at 9 am Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
Nadine was born April 16, 1936 in Enid, Ok, daughter of Henry and Frances Ehlers and passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She attended school in Lahoma, OK, Boulder, CO and received an Associate’s Degree in Home Economics from Rose State College in Midwest City, OK. She was united in marriage to Larry K. Gilchrist on June 3, 1962 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma, OK. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Norman.
She was a member of the American Volksport Association and has volksmarched in places around Europe, the United States, and 77 counties of Oklahoma. She was also a member of the National Association of Royalty Owners.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry and is survived by daughter Leda and son Carl, both of Norman, OK.
