Mildred Garrett

Funeral services for Mildred “Millie” Garrett will be held Wednesday March 20, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Chapel with Rev. Pat Sutherland officiating. Burial will be at the Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery in Wichita Falls, Texas. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Millie was born October 16, 1923 at Atwood, Oklahoma the daughter of Dencil and Cecilia (Harris) Warnock. She attended schools in Atwood thru the 10th grade. Millie married Bill Garrett on November 1, 1941. Millie and Bill traveled the world as she was a military wife and mother. They retired in Wichita Falls, Texas. When Bill died in 1972 Millie moved to the Enid area and has lived here since that time. Millie was a member of the Christian Church of the Covenant.

Survivors include: Daughter and Son-in-law Sue and Ken Reeves of Carrier, Oklahoma, Two Grandchildren: Kyle and Amy Reeves of Chicago, IL, and Whitney and Jeremy Simons of Nairobi, Kenya and 3 great grandchildren.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorial donations may be made to DOOR International in Whitney and Jeremy Simons name. Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home will serve as custodians of the fund.
