Lisa Marie Galusha passed away peacefully in her sleep the night of Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the age of 53 in Enid, Okla.
Lisa was born Oct. 14, 1957, in Richmond, Calif. To Jim and Doris Lueth.
In 1959, Lisa and her family moved to Fullerton, Neb., then in 1962 they moved to Grand Island, Neb., where Lisa attended elementary, junior and senior high. Lisa graduated from Grand Island High School in 1975.
She later moved to Colorado and married Robert Roberts. She and her husband moved to Enid, Okla., in 1979, where they had two children, Amber and Dustin Roberts.
Differences separated them and in 1987, Lisa married George Galusha. They had one daughter, Angel Galusha.
Lisa lived her life in Enid up until the time of her death. Lisa was employed by Hope Outreach, where she touched many lives. She was a good friend to many by helping in any way she could. Her friends described her as blossoming at the time of her death. Lisa was very active at Grace World Outreach Church where she was an usher and greeter. She always was bringing her co-workers to church with her to introduce them to the Lord. She also was working with the “Forgotten Church” to help feed the homeless. She attended Macadonia Missions Ministry School and was looking forward to going on a mission trip. Bound by the strength of the Lord, Lisa was a mentor to many people and changed many lives.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Autumn Roberts of Oklahoma; daughter, Angel Jasmine Galusha and fiance’ Shanon Ray Lindbloom of Oklahoma; as well as grandchildren, Harlin Ray and Margot Sky Roberts, Gage Allen Galusha and Alexandria Babylon Lindbloom. Also surviving are Lisa’s sister and her husband, Lori (Lueth) and Paul Syverson of Colorado; her brother and his wife, Eric and Erin Lueth; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lisa was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Sky Roberts; parents, Jim and Doris Lueth; husband, George Galusha; grandparents; aunts and uncles.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Grace World Outreach Church, 2502 W Elm, Enid, Okla., by Pastor Wayne Bland.
Letters to Lisa may be left to be placed in her memory box at the time of the service.
