Elnora Galusha

Elnora “Sis” Galusha went peaceably on April 27, 2010 at the United Methodist Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held for Sis Galusha on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born December 15, 1921 in Lahoma, OK to Thomas and Etta Huffman Hollingsworth and attended school there until she graduated in 1939. After high school she married Jerry W Galusha who had preceded her in death.
She and Jerry custom harvested for several years before building and operating Jerry’s Roller Rink in Enid. After that, Sis attended Beauty College to become a hair dresser and then opened Sis’s Hair Affair in downtown Enid which she operated for over 30 years.
Survivors include her son, Michael Galusha and his wife Heather of Harrison, AR and four grandchildren: Duston, Kira, Kinley and Kennedy; her sister-in-law, Letha Hollingsworth; nephews: Tom Hollingsworth, Warren Lovelady, Larry Hollingsworth and nieces: Helen Bower, Donna Lovelady and Karen Bliss, Carolyn Lyndsey and Vonda Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jerry Lee, stepson, Everett, twin brother Elwood Hollingsworth, her brother, Kenneth Hollingsworth; three sisters, Rae Pierce, Lela Beckwith and Leona Decker.
