Funeral services for Clyde E. Frye age 63 of Ringwood will be 2pm Thursday May 3, 2012 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Rev Owen Cayton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bison Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Clyde was born September 25, 1948 in Borger, Texas to Billy R. and Jean A. Annis Frye and passed away earlier Sunday in Norman Regional Hospital. Clyde attended school in Borger, TX and Dumas High School in Dumas, TX. He joined the U.S. Army in 1967 and served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1973.
Clyde married Luise Link in December 1968 and later married Sandra Horner on February 10, 1989 in Enid.
Clyde was self-employed as a welder.
He was involved in Safe Kids Coalition, served on the Board of Directors of Enid YMCA, and the Downtown AMBUCS, served on Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity.
Clyde is survived by his wife Sandy of the home, two sons, Shayne Frye of Tulsa, OK, Jesse Tune, daughters; Shawn Galligher, Wendi Collums, and Heather Harbron all of Enid, his father Billy Frye of Dumas, TX , 10 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his mother Jean and one brother Mike Frye.
