A celebration of Life for Carl Grant Freeman, 96, of Enid, will be Saturday, March 15, 2014, 11:00 AM at The Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Strope, Chaplain Gary Miller and Pastor Craig Bruyn officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Carl was born December 9, 1917 in Buffalo, OK the son of Arthur and Cora Rolf Freeman and passed away March 6, 2014. He was united in marriage to Lois Norton June 3, 1939 in Buffalo, OK and she preceded him in death in 1979. He was then united in marriage to Helen Harshbarger in 1984 and she preceded him in death in 2008. Carl was a farmer and rancher in Harper County, OK. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Freeman of Jenks, OK, a son, Dwight Freeman and his wife Kandy of Monte Vista, CO, a granddaughter, Karli Millspaugh and her husband Brent of Denver, CO, a brother, Merle Freeman of Oklahoma City, OK and two step-daughters, Alfreda White and Wilma Moore and his caregivers, Karen Burton and Esther Young, (His Call Girls). He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Thad and Marvin, one sister, Marcile Brewer and a stepson, John Harshbarger.
